Quite simply, stunning packaging...
Where do I Sign up?
Any word yet on extras and whether they did a new transfer? I hope the set includes all the extras from the 25th anniversary edition plus new stuff.
I am all kinds of picking this one up, good to see that the packaging rocks! PaulaJ, the list of extras is here, which I'm pretty sure includes all the stuff from the previous edition, plus a new documentary. Here's the list:
I haven't seen any info on whether it's a new transfer or not.
Can't wait for this.
I read in another thread, forgot what it was...
That the transfer is new and it had extras, only one I remember is the A Warrior's Journey doc.
Nice classy cover for my one time favorite film of all time, lost count of the number of times I saw Enter the Dragon at the cinema in various reissues back in the 70's.
A Warrior's Journey is an excellent 100min documentary on Bruce Lee which is available to buy on dvd on it's own, contains 40mins of unedited footage from Game of Death, a fantastic extra to have on this disc, if it is that doc.
Curse of the Dragon, not as good as Warriors Journey, but still a must have for Bruce Lee fans, many interviews and rare clips included.
An excellent package for the most famous and probably still the most popular martial arts epic of them all.
If this is indeed the doc they showed on AMC a few months back, I'm all over this. Great documentary.
must buy immediately as soon as it come out!
Yes!!!! Warner Bros. does it again! I'm all over this like a cheap suit. Whenever I buy one of these, I find myself enjoying the extras disc as much as the special features. This one sounds like it will be loaded!
I'm gonna end up double dipping on this--and I haven't even cracked my copy of the FIRST release yet. I got it for Christmas, along with like, 20 other DVDs.
well, GOOD crap, but still. Crap
Didn't the earlier release have an isolated music track?
Quite frankly, that cover is rubbish!
The backround colour is awful, looks like paisley print.
They should have reworked the original yellow colour scheme of the theatrical release with the white/black typeface and the grrovy silhouette of Bruce Lee dangling on a rope.
The previous edition was a much more classy affair with the black background and foil stamping.
Welcome to the forum.
We have a strong disliking for thread-farting. Will you please tone down in the future, in situations like this?
Thanks for understanding.
I saw this in a theater over 10 times. One of my absolute favorite. I cannot wait to get this. I love the original 1-sheet on the cover.
If you do not have this, it is a must buy. Look for Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung. Sammo is easy to spot and is in the beginning. Jackie is little harder. He is the guy who gets his neck cracked by Bruce.
Looks pretty stunning. I will be picking this up.
Glad I eBayed my old copy...
I am SO glad I fought temptation and didn't pick up the other release! But I did rent the HELL out of it!
Sight unseen, and I only have 2
I'm new here, so I have to ask - how in the world was that a thread crap? He was on topic, and gave an opinion of the packaging. If he doesn't like it then automatically its a thread crap?
This place would be pretty boring if we all agreed with each other. Even as I say that, I will agree that the cover looks awesome.
