I don't know why it apparently stopped working. I think it was supposed to be good until 5/20. Oh well.
Here's another $5 coupon code, but this one requires a $20 minimum order. Expires 5/20. I just tried it and it worked. I ordered The Importance of Being Earnest (Criterion).

I called them today and was told that the first code was an error listed by another site, yet they were still granting it until last Thur.

The current coupon makes you buy something that costs $20.00 before shipping. Shipping costs do not count as the $20.00 barrier. In other words, leave shipping out of the total price in order to qualify for the current coupon.

I wanted to switch my pre-order from Black Hawk Down to Star Trek II: Director's Edition but they wouldn't let me.

So, I cancelled. I wasn't very inpressed with DVD Empire's customer service at all. I don't plan on ordering from them again.
