If there are any Tarantino fans who haven't caught up with Django Unchained, they have that in a steelbook for $9.99.

Costco has a promotion with Criterion going on now - something like 17 or so titles for $19.99 (all BD) on the shelf. The current issue of their Costco Connection magazine also has a nice feature on Criterion including interviews with their president and details about the company. It is amazing that they turn out such high quality product with such a small staff. Granted, not every one of their titles is everyone's cup of tea, but most film buffs will find something they like.

Twilight Time doesn't do retail but that's another company I have a lot of respect for. These small high end labels do a great service by keeping their standards high and quality even higher.

I've been a member for two decades and I didn't even know about the Costco Connection magazine! Thanks for the heads up on that.

Picked up McLintock! today. It's stickered for $8.99 but rings up for $9.99, make sure you get an override.

Most of them will have an additional sticker over the 8.99 sticker listed for 9.99, but that 9.99 sticker easily peels off so poeples might be peeling them off.

Thanks for the tip. I just went there and snagged a copy for myself. They also had 2 copies left of the Criterion It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. I really should have picked one up but I didn't, because I told myself, no you came here to get McLintock.

Stopped by Costco today for some photo stuff, stuck my nose into the DVDs - they had these horror movie bundles for 15 bucks. One of them had Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Return of Living Dead, Jeeper Creepers and Teen Wolf. The second one (the one I got) was full of Mysery, Silence of the Lambs, Invasion of the Body Snatchers 79 and the original Amityville Horror.

About 3 bucks a title? Consider me sold!

I watched the pilot today, Johnny Fever mentions getting fired for saying booger. Then I watched This week's SNL and Jim Carrey as Matthew Mconeghy says booger.:)

As I posted in this week's roundup, My Costco (Shoreline, WA) had the most of this week's limited edition steelbooks for $9.99 each (I saw An American Werewolf in London, The Big Lebowski, The Blues Brothers, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Psycho, and Scarface). Didn't see Scott Pilgrim or Shaun of the Dead while I was there, but I didn't look too hard.
