I kind of laughed at that $32.99 price on Argo when I first saw it in the warehouse. Seems ridiculously high for a double-dip on a recent film, even as an extended edition.

Last time I was in, they also had $8 instant rebates on the complete series sets of Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie (final price $19.99 each).

Maybe it was Canadian dollars. ;)

Is that James Dean box-set deal still on? Heading to Costco tomorrow.
Should be. The rebate line in Tony's photo says "Expires 12/30/13".

I think it is if you click on it that's why I posted both.

The new coupons came today and starting on Thursday, May 8 they are having a special on Disney DVDs and Blu-Rays. The Blu-Rays are $8 off, I can't remember what the DVDs are.

I'm glad to hear about the Godzillas, I may have to head over there tomorrow and pick those up. :)

My local Costco in Overland Park, KS had the following Criterion blu-rays for $20 each:

Traffic
Blow Out
Francis Ha
Seven Samurai
On the Waterfront

For the last two listed that's a real deal!

I hear the Wes Anderson Criterions are also showing up at Costco (for $19.99) now, including Life Aquatic (ahead of official release date). Not sure I wanna upgrade Life Aquatic though...

I scored Double Indemnity, Touch of Evil, and Foreign Correspondent yesterday.

My store had not only the Criterion Hitchcocks, they had most or all of the single Universal Blu-ray releases, the Fox/MGM ones, and even Capricorn One, of all things, on the Image DVD. They weren't all grouped as such, which would have called better attention to them and been better marketing. But, you know, it's Costco. I was just delighted to catch up on the three that I did, and knock one of many new Criterions off my list. July's going to be huge enough as it is.
