Surprized no one mentioned Twister, which I think would look great in 3D, if properly done.

Dario Argento's SUSPIRIA always struck me as a movie that would work beautifully in 3D. Many of the scenes are composed "in depth" and have characters walking down hallways, etc.

And if we're talking perspective and depth, hell, what about Kubrick's THE SHINING?

Gladiator would look awesome in 3d ! Would love to see some more conversions , but done good like Jurassic park.

How about Freddy's dead ? They could convert the ending into real 3d

Not sure what you mean, gazadams. The 3-D portion of Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare was presented theatrically in anaglyphic (red and cyan) 3-D, but if I remember right, it was filmed in two-strip 35 using the HinesLab Stereocam, a very nice rig. If it ever comes to Blu-Ray, the 3-D segment could be presented in full color; all they'd have to do is source the image from the original negative, or whatever discrete elements are available.

Ah, right on. Thanks for taking time to clarify for me, which I appreciate. It seems you and I agree entirely that a 3-D Blu-Ray of Freddy's Dead would be most welcome.

ALIEN: all those wonderful extreme face close-ups.

Also, +1 for Star Trek TMP.

Anyone converting Star Trek: The Motionless Picture would also do well to make it a bit shorter whilst they're about it.
