Connecting Sony DAV-DZ555K to an AV receiver (1 Viewer)

Hi. I'm planning to buy a Yamaha or an Onkyo AV receiver. I have a HTIB Sony DAV-DZ555K lying around. Do you reckon the Sony speakers would work on the new receiver if I hook 'em up? The subs might not I reckon coz they're passive, me thinks.

No. HTiB speakers are...1. Typically 3ohm2. Ridiculously inefficient 3. Sound really bad.If you have to, start with a pair of speakers.
