I bought this last week and saw it last night. I don’t know what to say. It’s really a movie for the comic fans. I’m not a comic fanatic but I do read Star Wars and Spider-Man comics from time to time. I'm also a big Star Wars fan and there is Mark Hamill in it so I thought I'm going to like it but overall I didn’t enjoy it. I wish I had not bought it.

So my verdict is, it’s only for the fanatics! (huge huge comic book fans I mean!)

Comic Book wants to be a Chris Guest movie but it lacks the insight, charm and humor of those. It's watchable and sporadically entertaining, but generally poorly-acted and cheesy. Not in the league of better spoofs...
