Columbo on DVD (1 Viewer)

Are there any plans to release the original NBC Columbo series (from the 70's) on DVD?? They are already out both in Japan and in Europe:

I think more people would buy Columbo than "Sanford and Son"!!!!!!!

Columbo begs for a DVD release. They can do three per disc (as in the UK versions) and we would not have to collect a whole bunch. Maybe this will be in Universals rumored TV product launch.
