Hello,

I'd like to hook up the digital audio connection from my cable box into my receiver. The cable box has a coax out on it. The connector looks like a standard RCA connection. Is it possible to use an RCA cable for this purpose, or is a special cable, just with RCA ends, required?

Thanks for all the help!

Cheers.

The Digital Audio is an RCA end, but it is 75 ohm, not 50 (which is 'standard' audio cable).

Go to Radio Shack and get a 'Digital Audio Cable' 421-2104 from them. Also, Future Shop sells AR products, and London Drugs sells Monster.

Your price range would be from 25 bucks and up for 1.8m cables with RS cheapest, AR middle and Monster most.
