i am searching online for a not so popular amp. in order to save money i only want features i need.

i need
8 ohm
70 watt max
mono
good thd
20hz to 200hz

and a second
same only 160 watt max

i will use an oscilloscope so i understand il want some extra watts to keep good thd and from clipping
any sugestions? so far all i can find is audiosource and diy boards however if i consider diy anymore il ask in diy section

Your thinking is backwards. Bass eats up headroom. It is safer to ask a 200 watt amp for 70 watts, than it is to ask a 70 watt amp to hit its limit.

your right the max watts arent my biggest concern its thd
the speaker needs 70 watts max, so the amp need to reach 70 watts without clipping, when i said

i need
70 watts max

i meant

up to 70 watts with less than .01 distortion
