Great Post Kevin! Been sitting on my RS35 waiting for some big improvements in the JVC line. Looks like I may be facing another upgrade round. :) What's really got my attention is the 1/16 convergence. Gone through 4 JVCs, starting with the RS1, and this has been the common weak point. Hope you've been well. Cheers, Dennis

Agreed about the weak point, so its great to see this. It is an "electronic shift" done through video processing, not a manual adjustment.

Sounds logical, think it would be far to difficult to design a mechanism to physically realign the panels. This takes me back to my Nec XG135LC days and having to tweak convergence electronically. Which makes me wonder if we'll have some of the issues from the old days. Like stress on the circuits that manage the convergence. If your mechanical setup was not done well you'd get in a scenario of over volting the convergence board, leading to a premature failure.

Look forward to the review. I know you'll put it through its paces on the convergence front. Maybe this will finally get you to move from a single chip dlp platform. :)
