We stopped by the Tivo booth to check out their latest DVR, the Roamio. In addition to being a great DVR the Roamio Pro gives access to all your content -- including live, recorded and on demand shows, including YouTube, Pandora, Spotify, and MLB.tv, and over-the-top content from sources like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.Roamio Pro also offers a built-in power to stream shows directly to your smartphone or tablet to watch around the house. Later in the year the Roamio is supposed to support viewing content on the device over the internet, thus being able to watch all or your content remotely. This is very similar to SlingBox.The TiVo Roamio DVR Series includes three models: TiVo Roamio ($199.99), TiVo Roamio Plus ($399.99) and TiVo Roamio Pro ($599.99). Roamio features four or six tuners and unprecedented storage (ranging from 75 hours to 450 hours of HD content). It's great. TiVo to iPad transfer is super for travel.
