The Shout Factory tag instantly erased that initial thought. But the remake is also good and I'm glad it's coming to blu-ray.

Ordered through the link here at HTF.

This is the first film I ever truly became obesessed with as a teenager.
I see its flaws now, but still love it. Love the original, too!

The cover art is horrible, IMHO.

Almost two hours and no "I thought it was the original!" posts? :)
Okay, okay, I first thought it'd finally escaped Warner Archive, and was about to ask, 'What, no Curse of the Cat People?" (Which I was really hoping for anyway.)
I knew Scream was working on the slimy, filthy remake, but I just had to check.

I liked this remake, esp. the soundtrack, though the original is by far the best interpretation.
