Warner Bros./New Line certainly have balls to try to lowball Carrey or anyone else, if that ends up being the case, after going ahead on their own with ill-advised prequels (Dumb and Dumberer) and sequels (Son of the Mask) to his earlier hits that didn't actually involve him. He's hardly the bad guy in this, and it's up to the studios to make the reparations, here.
Kinda disappointed with this news. Besides Anchorman 2, the one comedy sequel that's actually worth having.
It's weird but several sites are saying that New Line wasn't behind the project. I thought the only reason they made THE THREE STOOGES was so that the brothers would agree to do a sequel to this.
Either way, a sequel is pointless without him.
