Very interesting reading in the Videoville column of todays NY Daily News. In a discussion with Kate Winn, director of home video for A&E, several points were made regarding old tv series on home video:
"DVD's are greatly outselling their VHS counterparts,we will be switching to DVD-only releases of our Cult Television product line beginning in January."
Winn says that A&E will soon issue the 1958-61 detective series"Peter Gunn" and 1960's "Supermarionation" adventures from Gerry Anderson, like "Captain Scarlet" and "Stingray".
I can't wait. Can UFO and Supercar be far behind?
