This may sound like a stupid question, but my friend is looking to hook an old receiver up to a new amp. He owns an old Technics SADX 830 receiver and was hoping to hook it up to a new Rotel amp (either RMB 1095 or 1075). He does plan on buying a processor at a later date but doesn't have the funds to buy both now. So he was hoping to buy the amp first and hopefully get some improved sound quality in the short-term.
The problem is, the receiver has no pre-outs. Is there any possible way to hook up an amp to the receiver using the speaker-outs on the receiver? Any specialized connections available???
Thanks
Scott
