A friend of mine in San Fran is getting a divorce and it's going to be a bit messy since quite a bit of assets are involved. So, I'd like to read-up on the subject to help him through it. I'm looking more for legal help than support services. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

If it is going to be messy (or contested in any way), I’d suggest that your friend consult a divorce lawyer.

Thanks...of course we're already on that. But it never hurts to know more yourself...

If you LIVED in the S.F.Bay Area, it wud be easy to find NOLO PRESS books at more than a dozen outlets. Nolo Press here is a longtime self-help enterprise, and the website might be of some use.
