I am planning to upgrade my bargain-basement KLH surround speakers for something better.
Originally, I had my heart set on a Bose Acoustimass 10 series III package. But after doing my homework online, it's apparent I could get a similar small-satellite system with better performance for less $.
I'm looking at buying the Cambridge SoundWorks "Newton Theater MC100.2 Home Theater Speaker System." CSW seems to get very favorable reviews on all their products. CSW labels it as in their "best" category of speaker systems (among good, better, best).
On hifi.com the MC100.2 sells for $900. So before I pull the trigger, I'd like to get some expert opinions on this product.
I primarily use my system for movies, not music. It will be used in a medium sized room. Towers and bookshelf speakers are not a possibility.
Thanks.
