    This is a 3D up-convert right?

This looks to me suspiciously like the existing release with a schmancy slipcover on it. Can anyone confirm?

It's actually a very good conversion, completed by ILM.

In fact, it was the very FIRST post-conversion ever done, right on the Disney heels of Chicken Little's re-rendering, and back before the beginning of the craze, when there were still a fraction of 3D theaters to show it--Cheap Warner Laziness hadn't had a chance to set in yet.

And good thing too, since I hadn't been able to find a cheap copy of the original 3D release on Amazon until last WEEK.

But then, this's also a good thing, in that if Blu 3D was really "dying" or "losing steam", as all the Big Newspapers tell us ( ), Disney wouldn't have bothered to include the Blu 3D in a simple repackaged Anniversary reissue release as standard.
Nowadays, it's just taken as a natural.
