I have an old Gateway computer for which I want to buy 64 megs of RAM. What do I need to know about my computer to make sure I buy compatible memory? Thanks.

You need to know what kind of memory it uses. This will depend on what kind of motherboard is in your computer.

you should try heading over to either crucial.com or corsair.com and try their memory selector deal and see if the gateway model is listed there. this will tell you what kind of memory your computer takes as well.
