Broadening my XM horizons via Polk XRT12 (1 Viewer)

I love XM!

In fact, I'll go one step further and
say that satellite radio has been one
of the best things to happen to me over
the past two years.

What can I say? I love my music and
nobody serves it up as well as XM.

NOBODY.

For the past year I have been using a
modified SKYFI unit with optical output
hooked to my stereo system. This has
provided a far cleaner sounding XM than
what you would traditionaly hear through
normal RCA hookup.

Today I went one step further....

Polk Audio XRT12 XM Receiver

Finally I can integrate XM into my home
system and have it look as good as it sounds.

I expect to be getting this baby in the next
few days and I'll let you guys know what I think.

Ron - Congratulations on your purchase! I'll look forward to reading a review in the near future. I currently have the SkyFi and expect to receive the SkyFi2 for Christmas, so I don't have any immediate plans to buy the Polk receiver, but it's certainly a possibility for the future.

As you know, I've been an XM subscriber for at least 18 months now, and I certainly agree that their music selection is incredible. I continue to rank XM as the best use of my entertainment dollar, and hardly a day goes by that I don't listen to for several hours. It's an incredible entertainment bargain!
