I will usually not see a movie more than once. However, sometimes I'll end up seeing a film more times if I go with friends. LOTR (both) and The Matrix (both) were exceptions, I went to subsequent viewing because I really wanted to see those films again. FOTR was the first film I actually went to see by myself!

back when i was a kid, i used to get passes from the elderly lady who owned the big theater in the town (she was good friends with my grandmother who was teaching her to drive!?)
i went every saturday and sunday for a whole summer and if i liked a movie i would stay and see it several times the same day.
the most viewings would have to have been Jaws-probably around 30 before it ever hit HBO, tape, etc

I don't have time for repeat viewing anymore. I rarely have the time to see everything that's out that I want to see 1 time. I think the last movie I saw multiple times in the theater was Requiem For A Dream and that's been almost 3 years ago.
