    Came with modified sound system..
Two Amps, Two Rear Speakers, Two Front Speakers, One Amp.

Is there a way to keep both subs and adjust the power of them?
Some songs produce way too much "boom" than I'd like..

Surely you can adjust a subwoofer right? Knob or something like on Home Theater Sub's.. Or adjust sub's power on the reciever which is I believe a JVC of some sort.

    Thanks

If there's too much boom, he probably tuned his amp to maximum gain or close to it. Look for a gain knob on the amp, may say something like Bass EQ, dB boost or something similar.

Also check the sub level output setting on the head unit.

Check your amp there is a gain nob. See what it is set to.
