Chapter 68:

We do need more Becky on the show.

Good to see Milo Ventimiglia get some work now that he doesn't work on Girlmore Girls anymore.

I sort of dug the catfight between the cheerleading moms.

Rappaport did get some major face time there in his subplot.

The "kinder, gentler" Stephen Harper bits were funny and painful, Guber's vignette was the funniest, followed by Lipshitz's.

Actually, according to my Replay, this was Chapter Sixty-Nine, with #68 airing next week. Which would explain Becky Emerson (glad she's still around) apparently knowing about the whole Steven/Scott/Marilyn triangle situation.

Also makes me wonder what happened to Heavy D, though - I don't mind characters coming and going from this show with minimal explanation (that's just what happens in schools, especially urban ones), just surprised he's gone.

Hmm...I wonder why they are showing the episodes out of order. Obviously Guber gets over the whole Stephen-Marilyn hookup deal. Did Fox really think they needed to go with the psycho cheerleader mom storyline to pull viewers in for the 2nd episode of the season?

Maybe they didn't want to start the season off with two heavily Guber-centric episodes? Tony Heald was really the focus of #67, and I'll bet #68 doesn't give the rest of the cast (other than, apparently, Rappaport) much face time.
