Picked it up, brought it home, took it dvd case out of the box, and the entire right side is shattered plastic. I hadnt even noticed. Going back tomorrow for an exchange.

I really liked this show when it aired. It quickly became one of my favorites.

When Season 1 was initially released, I wanted to get it, but was perplexed by the fact that it didn't include the 6 eps from season 2.

Anyhow...the $17.95 price tag at Best Buy was too good to pass up. At that price, you could use them for coasters (just kidding)...

Although...I have this odd feeling that NBC and Lions Gate might decide to release -- Boomtown: The Complete Series -- at some point down the road.

Anyone know if they'll ever release the last 6 eps?

What a great show that was! I've no idea why it didn't make it or why the network gave up on it so quickly. Heck, "The Practice" was a flop for its first 2 seasons before TV Guide ran a cover story, "The Best TV Show Nobody Watches"!

No point my getting the DVD series. Seeing this fine show again will just get me upset.......

I would hope so, since they've already recorded some commentary tracks and have material for a featurette. Plus I only caught the first episode from season 2, and I want to see the other 5.
