Volume 6 (street date 3/30/04) was supposed to be an SACD release and even had one song released in 5.1 on the Masked and Anonymous sampler. Any ideas if this change to a regular CD is a harbinger? They poising for a double-dlp out of the gate? Just curious what others think. Personally I just know I'm bummed.

I was very surprised to see this double-disc set listed for $20 at one retailer, as it was originally listed as SACD!

    I'm confused myself.

Not surprising... Sony doesn't seem to have much interest in their own format.

An extremely perplexing change in strategy, considering the surround mix was obviously completed. Not a good sign for the remaining titles in Dylan's catalog.[IMG]

I agree. Not good sign. And I was really looking forward to Time Out of Mind (still disappointed that Oh Mercy was only mixed in 2.0)
