Old issue, I found out later that it started doing the same thing on other BD's so my player was the culprit. I've since bought a new player and all is fine with The Monster Squad.

Was anyone else ever able to confirm this about The Last Starfighter? I know it doesn't seem like that big a deal; I just want to make sure I don't have the wrong settings on my player.
I've gotten the movie out of Netflix and confirmed that this does appear appear to be a glitch with the transfer. (yes, I realize how pathetic it is that I quoted my own post)Originally Posted by robbbb1138
I think I found a problem in Batman Forever, or maybe it's just my copy. During certain shots, a thin slice of the video from the top of the screen and a thin slice on the bottom of the screen are switched. I confirmed this on 2 TVs. Is anyone else seeing this. It was most noticeable during the parts near the beginning of the movie where Batman and that bank guard are trapped in the glowing-red vault.
