    Blackberry still has a large patent portfolio and will be an attractive target for Google, Microsoft, Apple.

    It's the design of the keyboard (buttons, layout, look and feel) that is in dispute, not the fact that it's a hardware keyboard. Hey, Apple successfully sued Samsung for making a rectangular slab, so anything is possible.

    It doesn't look like the Curve or Storm keypad to me.

    Looks like a BB Bold knock off to me. This is a really misguided product. If Apple would allow third party keyboards, no one would need this. A great software keyboard with GOOD autocorrect and word prediction are faster than hardware keyboards.
