Target sort of screwed up in their BF ad, and displayed the LotR Trilogy BD amongst the titles on sale for $7.99 (they intended the individual LotR titles to be available at that price), but they would honor the price for the Trilogy BD version as well for the 2-day sale (ending Saturday after black Friday).
So, if you go to the Target website:
http://www.target.com/Lord-Rings-Picture-Trilogy-Blu-ray/dp/B003HPAYZG/
Click on the "Find it at a Target store" link, put in your zip code, and then check and see if any nearby store report it being in stock. If it shows up as " limited availability" you still have a shot.
Be sure to write down the DPCI number: 058-40-0021, drive to the store, and give this number to a sales clerk and have them punch it into their handheld inventory device, and if it shows up as being in-stock, but isn't on the store shelves in the DVD area, have them check in the store room/back area for it. You may get lucky.
I did this, and got lucky and picked up the trilogy set for $7.99 + tax.
