Why apologize? It's not a contest to see who names certain titles first, it's a list of your favorites no matter if others have named them yet or not.

Christine is one of my favorites, some great stuff from the early days of Rock & Roll on that first 1982 vinyl release.

I used buy a lot of soundtracks back in the 80s but not anymore really. I guess the musical montages from movies back then stood out more to me.

Here are a few soundtracks off the top of my head:

Electric Dreams (1984) - Great 80s pop. I probably wore out my cassette tape on this one.:D In fact, I think I'll see if I can buy a CD of this.

Pretty Woman (1990) - I think everyone I knew owned this album. The song that stands out to me is "Fallen" by Lauren Wood. She has a great smokey voice.

Rain Man (1988) - When I heard "Iko Iko" in the opening scene, I knew I'd buy the track.

Mo' Money (1992) - OMG, such a great soundtrack. Loaded with R&B pop stars of that period. Janet Jackson, Luther Vandross, and members of New Edition at the height of their solo careers: Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill, and Bel Biv Devoe. Plus some 80s rap artists like Big Daddy Kane, MC Lyte and Flavor Flav. I felt like I was getting the kitchen sink on this one.

Some Kind of Wonderful (1987) - You can pick any John Hughes movie and get a great soundtrack. I chose to name this one because I bought it for the song on the end credits. It was a Celtic version of Elvis's "Can't Help Falling In Love" sung by Lick the Tins. Don't knock it until you try it.:p)

Better Off Dead (1985) - The greatest comedy ever (yeah, I said it) had some great musical montages. Remember the scene where Lane and Monique (played by the ever so hot Diane Franklin) are fixing up the Camaro? What song comes to mind? Yes, "Like To Get To Know You Well" by Howard Jones.

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) - Great 80s rock by bands I never heard of. I liked every song on this album and never skipped over any of them. Of course that is a little hard to do when you are listening on a cassette tape.;)

I might post more later but I'll let others have a chance to put in their two cents.:emoji_thumbsup:
