Hey guys me and my roommates are looking for a decent home theatre system... No one really wants to put up a lot of money so we're looking for the best quality system we can get on a limited budget. Thanks so much for your time and help!
P.S. I like this deal http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-HT-S3500-5-1-Channel-Theater-Receiver/dp/B0077V88V8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1346735323&sr=8-1&keywords=onkyo+3500 but Idk much about this stuff so I don't know if there are better systems out there!
Also just so you know we'll be using it mainly for watching sports, playing video games, watching movies, and listening to music!

The standard answer to your situation is the Onkyo HT-S5400. However, I just saw the Yamaha YHT-397, which would be my choice, just because I like Yamaha more.

Someone on ebay is selling Insignia party packs on ebay for like 400 dollars. Its a 40 inch LCD and a Insignia 5.1 reciever and speakers. Its actually a really nice setup. I think its made by Onkyo, the subwoofer is a monster and hits pretty good. Speakers are so-so but you can easily upgrade the speakers later on if not satisfied. Important thing is you would have a solid reciever and subwoofer. The speakers will do the job for a average listener but if you get picky another 600 bucks later on could change that.:)
