Just talked to Mitsubishi. The sets they make for Best Buy are different in that they do not have color enhancing glass shields in front of the screen they only plastic shields. Also the non Best Buy sets have a toggle switch which allows the viewer to turn sharpness on or off. Hope this helps someone. THe consumer rep at Mitsubishi said this is only true for sets they make for Best Buy all other sets are same.

People have been talking about this for some time, but it is good to remind people. BestBuy Mitsubishis are stripped-down Gold models and are generally NOT recommended for the price.
