Lot of good choices out there. I own Outlaw and think they make good equipment. Parasound, Anthem, Adcom and Rotel all make good amps. If you have a taste for the high-end, Bryston is a good choice.
Depends on how much power you need. You can grab a used Anthem PVA-7 for around $900. Nice amp if you have efficient speakers. If you have power hog speakers, this won't do, maybe the outlaw or sherbourn for tougher to drive speakers. Then you are talking 2k or more.
I'll throw the NAD T973 7 channel amp into the fray. Solid build, plenty of power - 140w with all channels driven at the same time. Remote triggers - all the standard items to look for in a quality amp.
