Might want to try this, considering I use bean bags in my HT.......

Tactile transducers need to be tightly coupled to something fairly rigid in order to distribute and transmit force effectively.

you certainly can't attach a bass shaker directly to a bean bag, but you could make a platform that has the bass shaker planted on and put the bean bags on top of the platform... sounds like too much trouble for bean bag chairs though
