bah, so the pioneer d712k is around 35-40wpc i guess (1 Viewer)

the manual states that the d712k is 100W @ 1kHz 1.0% thd for 5 channels.
how many wpc does that turn out to be?
and also, will that be enough to drive my AR HC6 easily?
maybe I should've went with the clearance Onkyo SR500?
how do I know if that particular SR500 has the LFE bug?

ANY receiver that rates it's power at 1Khz is not worth your time and $$. To rate at 1Khz only, and still have 1% distortion sounds pretty bad. I'd take it back and get the Onkyo.
