I have searched, but have not seen any reviews here for this dvd. I am going to pick it up for my kids later today, but was wanting to read some reviews first. I have seen a few in other places, but I think we have some of the best reviews here.

The kids love the Jackie Chan version.

I love the original which was for a different audience. It
really needs a Todd AO projection however to be fully appreciated.

I find that if you pretend you're five years old, you can enjoy the Jackie Chan Around the World in 80 Days. ;) But only if you do that. It doesn't work for adults. ;)

Adults can find their Jackie Chan relief by treating themselves to the new anamorphic transfer box sets of Project A 1 &2, and the three Police Story movies. :) Now THOSE are great movies. :)

The 1956 version is joyful, and moves on "a bright cloud of music" (apologies to Hammerstein II).

Play it loudly, sit close, and pretend you're seeing it in 70mm Todd-AO.
