"Are You Being Served?" The First 5 Seasons Coming to DVD in August !!! (1 Viewer)

Anybody know if they're going to release the last seasons? Maybe even Are You Being Served Again? (Grace and Favor)? I'd hoped they were going to come out soon after the first box set.

I received this box set for my birthday last month, and am very happy with it.

before this set, I only saw about 2 episodes.

But now, I'm up to disc #4

So far I love every episode, but I sort of dislike the episode of Mr. Grainger's retirement party(Cuckoo Clock)

I have to return Disc #1 since episode "Sexy Knickers" keeps locking up in both DVD players.

Direct Video says I may return just the bad disc, and they will happily replace the bad disc.

This box set is definitely worth its price.

Seasons 6 through 10 of AYBS should be available before the end of this year. Also Yes, Minister will be released in May. I am not sure of the plans for Are you Being Served Again, but it is a strong possibility.

I tried to find this for my wife as a Christmas gift, but no one brick and mortar store had it. Had to settle for the AYBS movie. It was OK I guess, but would have preferred to put my hands on the set itself.

Agreed with that. That's where I ended up getting mine.

The BBC definately has a friend in Borders!

In Canada, Future Shop has a LOT of copies of it, but for some reason it's almost impossible to find in the store, you really need to ask them for it.

For example, in the store where I got mine, I asked in the DVD section. She walked me over to the middle of the compact disc section to where a large support pillar was. In front of the pillar was a workstation for looking up information, and jammed behind the workstation was a pile of about 12 boxed sets of AYBS. A buddy of mine got his at a different Future Shop and he said they had piled theirs in a pyramid over by the plasma screen television sets!

I guess it's supposed to be part of the fun =p

Best Buy has several on the shelves in my area, as does Fry's and Tower.
