Actually, he referred to her as a fluffer, which as we all know is the job of a woman in the porno biz to keep the guys "at the ready" before going on screen. But I agree, in totally bad taste and I was glad to see him go.

Not to mention the number of times I heard the word MILF being thrown around.
Wonder what kind of blow it was to the egos of these celebrities when 6 out of 8 couldn't even break $1,000 on the auction.

Next weeks episode appears to be nothing more than a place holder, filler material with nothing of importance to watch.

Sorry James, but yeah.. pretty off there. Fluffer, not puffer.. hell, I don't even know what a Puffer would be..

As for the bands/acts I agree that they were all well known, particularly in the NYC area, which is likely the only area most bidders would come from. Moby in particular is likely one of the more recognizable names.

Now, the television network.. that I never heard tell of..owned by NBC, maybe?

I think if you get an exemption for being a winning team leader you should be able to keep it until you want to use it.

My wife thinks that Trump is gunning for a woman to win this time.

Oops. Yeah, fluffer is what I meant. Jamie, a puffer would be what my overtired brain decided I should type instead (hey, they sound alike and one less letter means I get to bed that much sooner, lol). Lesson to be learned: don't count on the HTF spell checker catching all my typing errors.

(Additional note: just noticed the spell checker doesn't like "fluffer" and wants me to correct it. Puffer = A-OK, fluffer = typo. Go figure.)

You took the words out of my mouth, James. Unlike something like The Amazing Race which holds my interest by going to different places each season with tasks tailored to each region, The Apprentice has worn out its welcome on my PVR. There are just so many places in NYC one can go and things to do before it all begins to look the same. And The Donald's Droning has become annoying (must be that Kevin Costner Acting Studio training ;) ) and the tasks have become either boring or repetitive. Heck, last week's Chelsea Pier Miniature Golf Course Challenge was so "riveting" that they devoted, what, 2 or 3 minutes to it?

I'll stick with this season (via PVR to "zip-zip") to see who finally wins, but I really don't care who that is. Next year The Apprentice joins my "Jumped The Shark" list.

Funny - the two top grossing "celebrities" weren't what you'd call "the real thing"

Moby and Lil' Kim generated the highest bids, and eclipsed ALL of what Magna had as celebrities. Pretty good for imitations if you ask me.

Supposedly tonight's a recap episode, with some "unseen" footage tossed in for good measure due to March Madness on CBS.

I figured they'd have to do a clip show when that girl walked off (meaning two people left in one episode). They should have just picked the most interesting task and devoted two episodes to showing it.

"no one" = you. :D

Personally, I was wondering why the hell Barenaked Ladies were on there. Have they had any kind of success since that one big hit many years ago?

I finally caught up with all the Apprentice episodes, and I think it's about the same as the previous 2 seasons. But I wish they'd cut down the damn MARKETING tasks. The hotel one has been the best so far, where the teams actually had to do a lot of real business decisions and real work.

Can this train wreck of a show get any worse? It says a lot when the three most unprofessional people in the boardroom are named Donald, Carolyn and George. Someone needs to seriously tell those three to grow the hell up. Stop with the snide remarks and taunting already and just discuss what went wrong in an adult matter. I'm used to seeing Trump act like a spoiled child but never really expected to see Carolyn and George emulating him. At one point, when it looked like Trump might fire Angie, I swear I saw Carolyn pouting. Trump, I said it when you fired Audrey and I'll say it again: just fire the girl in a professional manner. No snide remarks or personal insults needed (or wanted).

I couldn't hear it either.

Anyway, maybe it's just because it didn't follow Survivor, but I thought tonight may have been the best episode of the season. A satisfying boardroom with lots of twists and turns. And it was great to see Erin go from Trump's crush to getting fired in the span of a single episode.
