Anyone had experience with stick antennae? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking at installing an antenna for OTA HD signals and wanted to query the membership to see if anyone has used a stick-type antenna and, if so, how well it worked.

I tried the Radio Shack version of that type of antenna,but didnt have good results,i returned it for the standard type and iam very pleased with the pic.I also have DirecTV and the on air local channel pic useing the antenna is better than DirecTV's local channel pic.
