There's a 50th anniversary convention coming up in New York in September, I'm tempted.

The NY one seems pretty official too - licensed by CBS and run by the company that does NY ComicCon:

Have fun at the Vegas one! I went to the Star Trek ride they had there in Aug 2001 and that was pretty fun, but I think it's closed since that time.
