It sounds to me like you need a Hayabusa! It's a little radical for a sport-tourer, and it's definately not down on power. Corbin make the beetle bags for it.

If my bike was to break somehow and needed replacement, the 'Busa would be on my short list (as would the Honda CBR1100XX). But I've read enough about those beatle bags to be completely not interested.
