A few episodes ago, they were holding hands. In tonight's episode, Bo was holding Vonz's back and Seacrest tried to do the same but ended up touching Bo's hand.
Yeah, there is obviously some hanky panky going on between Bo and Ryan.
But back in the real world, the finale is going to be great. This season has been much more enjoyable than any of the others because I liked so many of the contestants. It was V's time to go, but I really liked all 3 of them. This season was much more entertaining than at least season three.
I found it funny when they showed them going back home and the celebrity frenzy they all received. And to think only 3 months ago..the only police escort Bo was going to get is when he got busted. Seriously, it really must be weird to go from total annonmity to being in parades with thousands of people lined up to meet you.
Bo: He can make anything sound good. Good, not great.
Carrie: Bad song, and the worst performance I've heard from her.
Round 2: Contestant's Choice
Bo: Again, just good.
Carrie: Mediocre.
Round 3
Bo: Worse than good...average.
Carrie: Average song, pretty good performance.
This was a horrible finale. I put the blame on the songs, song choices and nerves. Bo and Carrie deserved to be in the finale, but the songs they sang were not finale-worthy. I don't care who wins because they're both worthy of the title, and they'll both get record contracts anyways.
I though both performers looked tired and sounded right on the edge. The songs were lackluster and made for a missed opportunity with two good singers who have no weeks left in them.
I thought Carrie seemed very strained and was off key more than usual. Bo looked tired and on the last song looked like he almost missed his cue to be on stage and barely got to the mike in time.
I suspect Carrie wins if one goes by the judge pimping tonight and overall expectations.
Why not let both of them sing the kinds of songs they will be putting on their future albums rather than a couple of crappy ballads by some no-name song writer.
I'm rooting for Bo, but I won't be upset if Carrie wins. This finale sucked the life out of the competition for me. I didn't see/hear any kick-a performances tonight so I'm calling it a draw.
By this time in the competition, the stress on the females' vocal cords usually takes its toll on them. Only season 2 had 2 male finalists, so they didn't sound as bad tonally. Carrie did go for her soaring notes, but you could tell during the interview segment that her voice was getting hoarse.
I didn't like that they re-performed one of their old songs from the competition for their 2nd song. Their first and third songs just were good songs.
I did manage to get 3 votes in for Carrie in a span of 8 minutes of re-dialing. Then I did some more productive things, like watch my other recordings from tonight's slate of season finales.
It was a bad show. I find it hilarious that the judges do not participate in picking at least one song for the finale show. What is their purpose again?
I voted for Bo a couple of times. He won the competition in my mind w/ the a cappella song last week. I love Carrie, but she did not have a good night.
As bad as it was, it was better than last year's finale.
Bo and Carrie both showed signs of nerves last night, and neither was spectacular. Whoever was doing the audio mix for the broadcast seemed to like hearing the horns and background singers better than the lead vocals - although they may have had a point, given the circumstances.
