    I email Amazon to let them know that there was a defect (damage) to the 5th disc in the Angel season 5 boxset.

    5/18/05
    I get emails from Amazon saying a replacement set has been sent and a postage paid return label is in the mail. When I get the label I should send the defective set back to them.

    5/18/05
    I received the replacement set.

    I've had a couple of sets handled the same way by Amazon. I had always used DVD Express but after having to return damaged sets at my expense I buy all my online stuff from Amazon.

    amazon.ca is similarly customer friendly. I had the same very positive experience with a damaged Grave of the Fireflies dvd. My dealings with them have always been prompt and very helpful.
