I did pretty nicely this Christmas. While I handed pick all the presents, I still glad on what I did get. Here is the following presents I got.
DVDs
Toy Story : Ulimate Toy Box
A Bug Life : Collector Edition
Willow : Special Edition
Games
Metal Gear Solid 2(with strategy guide) : PS2
Star Wars : Galatic Battlefield : Computer
Dragon Warrior 7 : PS
And also two nut crackers(I also like getting those) and one action figure(Evil Ash). In all, a pretty good Christmas. Just wish January would come sooner, since that when I'm getting a GameCube(can smell Smash Bros alreadly).

I did pretty well:

Planet of the Apes(2001)

Jurassic Park III

Metropolis(1926)

A question about Metropolis before I open it, though: It is the Madacy release, is it of any quality, or is it total crap?

Thanks,

Kyle

I got
Fantasia Anthology
Almost Famous: Bootleg Edition
Buffy the Vampire Slayer(movie)
Simpsons First Season Box Set
Stargate SG-1 Box Set
Also, I got Series 7 when out shopping this weekend, and my mom didn't like Moulin Rouge so she gave it to me. My stepdad got
Swordfish
Planet of the Apes (2001)
Jaws
I gave my mom You've Got Mail and my stepdad Jaws. Just so it was completely non-self serving, I got the DTS version of Jaws. My parent's receiver can decode, mine can't. So if I borrow it I'm stuck wth lousy 2.0 Stereo! :)
And Kyle, the Madacy version has been pretty disputed in the past. I doubt it cost much, though. Probably a waste of time to return, since I've seen it as ShopKo for $5.
Merry Christmas everyone!

I got:

The Matrix Revisited

Bon Jovi: The Crush Tour (very cool!)

Stripes

Wild Things

MST3K: The Brain That Wouldn't Die

MST3K: The Beginning of the End

WWF: Divas in Hedonism

I'm thinking either Stripes or Wild Things will get exchanged for a disc I *really* want, but we'll see...

My sister made a pretty good gamble I think. She knows I like most John Cusack movies so she picked up...
TAPEHEADS
Hehehe. Its been a while since I've seen it so the DVD should be a gas, and it even has a commentary :)
Does anyone remember this movie?
What DVD(s) did you get for Christmas?

The DVD's I got this season were:
Almost Famous:Untitled DC
Monty Python and the Holy Grail:SE (which had the subtitle problem...damn it!)
Star Wars Episode 1
Noah's Ark (with Jon Voight)
Tomb Raider
OK so they are a few months old, but hey...
I really wanted Twin Peaks though....
I'll just buy it with my Christmas money.

Here's the list.....
- Tigerland (Never heard of it, will give it a shot!)
- Pearl Harbor (I hated it, but my dad loved it. Was my brother's idea.)
- 2001 A Space Oddysey (My choice! We never owned it before, even on VHS! I knew we just have to watch it at least once during the year 2001!)
- Red Shoe Diaries (My mom picked this one. I never heard of it, and it's an Alliance full frame affair. Who knows?)
- Empire of the Sun (Again, never heard of it, but it's from Steven Speilberg, so it should be good!)
- Blazing Saddles ("Badges? We don't need no stinkin badges!")
- Shrek ( :) )
- Rocky Horror Picture Show
