I currently have my Direct TV, Super Nintendo, and PS2 plugged into my Westinghouse LD4655VX. I have a cable going from the audio output in the TV to my receiver and no audio is heard from the receiver. The receiver is a Yamaha receiver if that matters. If you need any more information just ask.
    Thanks,
    Caleb.

    Well...
Have you set the input on the AVR for the digital input?
Do you have the tv set fixed/variable?

I looked up the manual for that set and it only has optical digital out. Don't know if this will send audio from analog source devices like the PS2 or SNES (kinda doubt it) but it should work for DirecTV if it's an HD box connected to the set with an HDMI cable.
