Does anyone else rate this guy as a composer?
I think that his scores for Back to the Future, Predator and The Flight of the Navigator are brilliant, though his later stuff hasn't really caught my ear in the same way.

He and Zemekis really make a great team. I loved his recent work in "Cast Away".

Alan Silvestri rules! As mentioned, his works in 'Forrest Gump' and 'Cast Away' are simply perfect.

His score for The Mummy Returns wasn't too shabby either.
