Just wanted to say that reading this thread brought back the golden days of HTF. I don't get the chance to stop by much these days and usually am a bit disappointed that there's so little traffic in things like amps/speakers.

A spirited debate.

Like:
All amps sound alike.
Speaker cable makes no difference.
Hsu vs. SVS.

And, it's impressive after all this time how some have changed their minds.

Myself, I still like the Klipsch sound and have them in one room, but my main set up has ACI's.

Again, it brought back the great, spirited debates of years gone by.

Wow, what a long thread!!
After researching on my own I have also decided to go with Klipsch... what do you think of this plan?
Klipsch Reference Series:
RC-35 (center), RB-35 x 2 (fronts), RS-35 x 2 (surround) and the RW-12 Sub.
I will be pushing them with my Yamaha HTR5560.
What do you Klipschophiles think of that setup?

I think that setup will work great!
I certainly like my Yamaha (HTR5990) and Klipsch (Synergys)combination!

How funny,

I last posted in 2002. Since then I am divorsed & remarried. I have aged some and gained and lost weight. I have lost loved ones and gained new loved ones. The one steady has been my Klipsch RF-7 set-up. I have been happy from day one. I've heard many great speaker since that I could learn to love as well. BTW, the B & W 802's for $8K are still available but now at $4K....funny how things turn around with a few years...


Just wish I was wiser!
