I'm at work, eating left-over Mac&Cheese, and taking a break from reviewing materials to get up to speed on my project. And generally trying to get things done before I leave town for Christmas.

What about you? What are you doing with a week left before Santa comes?

Moving.

Our new house is finally done, so we are moving this week. In the house just in time for Christmas...

Now, if we could only sell our "old" house...

I hear ya Luis.
I think I may have just quit my job yesterday.

Been there 4 years & just couldn't put up with the crap that goes on there. Two hours before my shift ended I walked out.
We'll see if they call me Monday. :)

Other than that......

Happy Christmas & Merry New Year

Moved into a new house last week. Finished shopping yesterday, except for my brother, whose present I can pick up on the way home from work next week. And my pregnant wife is due any second now, so we're waiting.

You know whats funny Brian? Thats almost exactly what happened with me. I've worked for the same lunatics for about 5 yrs on and off. The other day I also just decided enough was enough and walked. Boss was pretty pissed when I showed up a week later to get my check (which the a-hole was holding for ransom) but the jerk deserves nothing less than a big

I guess things could be worse of course. But it was a leave that was long overdue. But on the bright side at least it didnt spoil the family's christmas.Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and everybody on the forum!

I'm ordering online as we speak....well kinda. Taking a break right now. I just ordered a few more of those little bed bugg toys for my mother to give out as gifts as well as some baskets. Next on my list is some more VoIP research....thinking of chipping in with some family members to sign my parents up with Sunrocket. We'll see about that one.

I don't like to make plans because I don't know what will happen, so I just take it day by day.. I'd like to get some more shopping done, but I got enough stuff anyways in case I can't.

I baked 5 kinds of cookies today. Still need to wrap my wife's gifts, although she's done the rest of the wrapping, thankfully.

I ran out for a few hours and did my core shopping, so I'm basically done with that. With just my parents and two sisters and brother-in-laws to shop for, it goes pretty quickly now. Especially when one sister wants cash and the other will buy things for mom for me :)

Scott L & Luis - Sorry about your tough spots. Hope you find prospects soon! As for friends getting married: a few years ago, I had about 15 weddings in 15 months. it was crazy. Something in the water, and every just had to get married. Except me.

Andrew & Aaron - congrats! I moved into a new place about 2 months ago. Whew, a lot of work getting it settled. And I still haven't bought furniture.

Did someone mention cookies? Mmm.... Christmas cookies...

I had all my shopping done the day after Thanksgiving...

that is until everyone else in my family has bought duplicate gifts or spoied themselves buying the things I bought them as gifts.

Five familiy members, four forced returns!

I'm pleasuring myself to an Asian porno. You have to take a stress break every now and again, you know.
