# of posts whining about the lack of The Ninth Configuration and other obscure movies on dvd: 135

# of posts trashing J6P: 164

# of clumsily written dvd reviews: 2

# of controversial topics started: 1

# of posts containing failed attempts at humor (like this one): 26

# of posts in the testing area trying to get my sig right: 73

# of posts that were completely ignored by the rest of you: 179

Anyway, thank you all very much for tolerating my benign presence here.
Edit: two things that I've learned on the HTF:
1. Never call Drop Dead Fred a piece of crap.
2. Never go into the DIY and Advanced HT Topics Area out of curiosity. My head is still spinning!

Woohoo, 1000 posts eh Steve? Congrats. I should reach 1000 posts in.... erm skip that, 278 posts in word association? Amazing thats 278 more than I did, not bad.

Yeah I remember now when I reached 1000 posts there was complete silence in the HTF, like a funeral procession, and I remember Marianne saying something along the lines of "Steve your last post was shite, and how the hell did you pass 1000 posts, now piss off", yep I was sulking for a week.

Hmmmm I saw Drop Dead Fred once, a long time ago, yep I remember bashing the rental guy over the head with the tape the next day...

Thanks, Pat! The last couple of days, I've been strutting around with my chest puffed out, bragging to my co-workers that I'd knocked off 1k posts on the HTF. Now you come along and ruin it for me!

Oh well, I guess I do have a long way to go in order to catch up with you turbo-posters! Zoooooom!!!
