Screen grabs up at DVD Beaver look stunning: http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film4/blu-ray_reviews_60/gun_crazy_blu-ray.htm
That may have been the case but these days perception seems to differ: I watched a Blu-ray of The Tall Men last week with my kids and they really were put off by the opticals and asked me what was wrong with those scenes that always started out looking very bad and then they got much better all of a sudden!I am just glad that we are now at a point where we can see the opticals so well, I wouldn't have it any other way.Peter Apruzzese said:He can correct me if I misinterpret him, but I'm certain he's not talking about the quality of a praticular print, of course no one is suggesting that bad and worn prints are somehow acceptable. He's saying that no one came out of a showing of Gun Crazy in 1950 and said, "Too bad that long dupe section with the robbery was so soft."
Ummm...Lewis. Where's the edit button?Doug Otte said:Why the question mark on the box after Lews' name?
